Use your favorite dict.leo.org dictionary on your Palm Pre or Pixi. This app gives you direct access to all dictionaries of Leo and to the high quality translations you know you can trust. Dictionaries from German to English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian are available. Translation is performed in both directions automatically.

How it works

Translate a term

After startup you can enter your search term in the input field. On the lower right you can find a button to select the dictionary. The currently selected dictionary is indicated with flags on the button.

Enter a term and press the "enter" key or tap on the search icon to the right. The app queries the dict.leo.org website and displays the translations in a convenient way. Flags in the background indicate which language is to be found on which side.

The recent searches are stored automatically. They can be accessed using the "Recent" button.

Tap on a search result to start a new search using that term. The term is entered into the search field and the search is started. Use the button on the lower left or do a back-swipe to navigate back to the previous search.

Further options

Tap on the button on the lower right to select a different dictonary. A menu is displayd to show a selection of all available language pairs. The app saves you selection. On the next start, the most recently selected dictionary is set auomatically.

Recent searches can be accessed through the "Recent" button on the lower right. Tap on the button and select a term from the menu. Tap on the term to start a new search using that term.

Updates

This app checks on startup if updates are available. If there is an update in the Palm App Catalog it will display a short message.
